This specimen is a narrow leaf of gold set among brilliantly lustrous crubic crystals. The color is a little pale due to silver enrichment within the first few microns of the surface. Analysis of these lighter colored gold specimens reveal that they are actually the richest gold specimens from Round Mountain usually exceeding 93% gold! The cubic crystals also have some small octahedral face modifications. I am starting the auction at the below the spot value of the gold in this specimen as of January 18th.
