Description: An excellent example of a single silver wire strand measuring about 2.5cm-3.0cm if stretched out. Silver specimens of any kind are rarities from Butte. Originally found as a silver camp, Butte soon evolved into one of the world's greatest copper mining districts ever developed. Ex. Duane Johnson who mined the specimen in the early 1980's from the T400 level of the Alice-Lexington Tunnel.
