Large display specimen loaded with lustrous black crystals of Neptunite. There are also blue Benitoite crystals, Djurleite, and small tan crystals of the rare mineral Joaquinite present. People most often think of Benitoite from this mine, but the Neptunite from this locality is also the world's best for species and this one has hundreds of crystals. Large plates of crystals such as this are not common. The Benitoite crystals reach 9mm in size. Ex. Len Pisciotta collection, etched and cleaned by Len. |
